The girl symbolises Gaia, wherever she walks things start to grow. The towers are unfettered capitalism and in front of them the teeth are consumption that can't be satiated. The puzzle is collapsing and either side of the painting are the guardians of an unsustainable lifestyle, the vacuum and the gas masked man.
