Marsh Marigolds (2018)Linocut

A reduction linocut of bright marsh marigolds next to a rippling pool of water and a tree reflection.

A reduction print is a relief print formed with layers of colour that are cut and printed from the same block, in this case, from lino. This is one of a small edition of prints, all of which are printed by hand so small variations occur between them making each one truly original.

This work is printed with water-based, light-fast inks on Somerset Satin paper and has a beautiful matt finish. It is numbered, titled and signed at the bottom, conservation mounted in a neutral colour and wrapped in cellophane to keep it clean. The mounted work will fit straight into a standard off-the-shelf 12x16inch frame.

This artwork will be packaged in a book wrap with plenty of card support for safety.

Materials used:

Printed on Somerset Satin with water-based light-fast inks. Conservation mounted to fit into a standard 12 x 16 inch frame.
