For this piece I was inspired by women showing their strength, grace and vulnerability through dance. She has a serene beauty and calm direct gaze. Her braided hair, the patterned arm cuff and richly textured skirt were painted with many layers of acrylic paint and some added hand-painted collage. There is a light texture to the piece.

Colors: Soft muted yellow, grays, blue, black, pinks, brown
