Mare in Nuvola is a diptych born from the meeting of sea and sky, where matter and lightness coexist in a suspended balance. The surface is built through layers of paint, resin, and glass elements, carefully embedded and fixed within the material, becoming fragments of light held in suspension.
Glass, fully integrated through resin, captures and refracts light, evoking sea foam, water crystals, and intimate constellations. The pictorial field moves between transparency and density, shaping an unstable, ever-changing landscape in which the sea dissolves into a dreamlike dimension.
Within this suspended space, small human figures emerge, traced with minimal and delicate lines. Fragile and silent presences, they move through the landscape like inner travelers, suggesting a deep and poetic relationship between the human being and nature. They are not protagonists, but part of the whole, quiet points of balance within a fluid universe.
