Original artwork description
Sold as a pair. Oil on reclaimed hardwood door panels, image area not square (see photos). Available as a DIPTYCH: two separate paintings which I feel should be hung together.
The model is Amanda, and the paintings are adapted from unguarded stolen moments during studio life sessions. This unhinged 'diptych' references body adaption by the application (and/or removal) of make-up in the morning (or evening) - the colour of hand-held mirror might (or might not) symbolise the time as might the frames.
Materials used:
Spectrum oil paint, knives, sticks, paste medium.
Details:
- Oil painting on Panel / Board / MDF
- One of a kind artwork
- Size: 108 x 47 x 2cm (framed)
- Framed and ready to hang
- Signed on the back
- Style: Expressive and gestural
- Subject: People and portraits
