It always makes me smile when people say their dogs aren’t allowed on the sofa. So many start out with strict house rules, but before long, those rules seem to disappear—usually the moment those loving eyes look up at them!

In my view, dogs belong on the sofa. They’re family, after all—and isn’t that what throws are for, to protect the furniture?
