Make a Wish is an original semi-abstract painting inspired by the mystery and magic of an enchanted forest.

Looking through the deep woodland, a distant castle appears beneath a dramatic sky, while tiny fairies hide among the trees, waiting to be discovered. If you find one, make a wish — perhaps it may come true.

I created this painting through layers of acrylic, oil pastel and collage, building colour, texture and depth within the woodland scene. The luminous blues contrast with the darker trees and distant castle, creating an atmosphere that feels suspended between reality and imagination.

The hidden details invite the viewer to look more closely and discover their own story within the landscape. I wanted the painting to retain a sense of mystery, wonder and possibility.
