A mysterious painting based on a folk tale I loved when I was a child. The crow is watching and waiting here for a ship to sail bringing a human sweetheart back home. The golden glow is the energy of the human spirit.I am fascinated by the sea and the colours created by the light on the water. Our oceans are such a precious resource, I create seascapes to highlight how beautiful our world is and love also to hint at things we don’t always understand.
Strong colours and a powerful sense of energy pull this image together creating a poetic visual story.
This painting does not need a frame. It can be hung successfully as a canvas.
