Love lives here No.2 is 50cm H x 70cm W x 4cm deep. Unframed.
In creating this piece, I aimed to evoke the deep, complex textures of emotions that make up our sense of 'home.' Utilizing acrylics, pastels, and spray paint, I played with abstract and expressionist techniques to conjure a space that feels both ethereal and rooted. Infused with texts and vibrant swaths of color, the painting reflects on the chaotic beauty of love and belonging. This artwork is a celebration, meant to bring warmth and a dynamic presence to any room it graces.
The artwork is inspired by the lyrics of the song "Love lives here" by Faces,- a melancholic reflection on memories and the passage of time. A part of the text is handwritten on the painting.
