This is one of a kind acrylic painting on stretched cotton canvas (comes with stretcher bars) and it is ready to hang.
The background and the texture of this painting has been created in an unique technique which I call acrylic frothing. The texture and the mix of paint has been achieved using water sprayer.
Most of my paintings start in the same way, by splashing blob of paints in an intuitive manner, then modelling it with a water sprayer. Later I add more realistic elements, in this case two love birds. Two cranes walking or flying together is the ultimate symbol of longevity. The crane is a popular symbol in Asian culture, and the practice of folding paper cranes for good fortune, healing, happiness, and success was popularized by Sadako Sasaki, a young victim of the radiation from the Hiroshima disaster.
The painting is signed in the front and on the back and comes with Certificate of Authenticity.
All my paintings are carefully packed, padded for a safe delivery and shipped with a tracking number.
