Los Gigantes-Tenerife I&II (2017) Original Acrylic Painting by Paul J Best

This diptych ( two paintings forming one image each 30cm x 60 cm ) is my depiction of the base of the huge Los Gigantes cliff face on the Canarian island of Tenerife observed from a boat. Here the layers of convoluted volcanic rocks have dramatic bands of black white and gold against a turquoise Atlantic Ocean.

The paintings form one image which could be hung in a corner or each side of a window but also could stand alone. They have been created with acrylic paints incorporating my characteristic subtle use of reflective paints to capture the light together with 'Golden' Extra coarse pumice gel to bring out the texture of the rocks. Created on shallow box canvases which I have painted black on the sides so you may choose not to frame.

Initialled on the front and signed on the back. Recycled good condition canvas ready to hang and supplied with a certificate of authenticity.
