Original artwork description
This painting continues my series of 'powerful places 'paintings. It is my depiction of the huge 800m high Los Gigantes cliff face on the Canarian island of Tenerife observed from a boat. Here the volcanic cliff face has a golden glow against a turquoise Atlantic Ocean.
It has been created with acrylic paints incorporating my characteristic subtle use of reflective paints to capture the light together with 'Golden' Extra coarse pumice gel to bring out the texture of the rocks. Created on a Gerstaeker shallow box canvases which I have painted white on the sides so you may choose not to frame. However I believe that the painting would greatly benefit form framing .The last image indicates an image of my recommendation for framing, which would be with an offset white frame.
Initialled on the front and signed on the back. Will be supplied corded and ready to hang and with a certificate of authenticity
