An impasto painting of a view seen at Longrun Meadow in Taunton, Somerset, UK.
The painting has been executed with acrylic paint, built up with several layers of paint, creating an impasto painting, exploring the foliage of the trees and the long grass. The area is a quiet space where you can contemplate, go for a walk and take your dogs for a run around.
The painting captures the serence view, whilst sitting on my favourite bench looking towards a copse of trees, that I have painted several times at different times of the day.
