Original artwork description
If Klimt was alive, he would probably scream from the top of his lungs, saying "what have you done with my tree?" Sorry Gustav, but I had to see what will happen if I raise the temperature so that it becomes so warm that the grass is no longer green, if I show more than a small dab of the sky. If the tree was so alone and so afraid to make even a slightest move, show even slightest bit of expression, in its effort to make itself invisible, deprives itself of the right even to make a shadow.
This is not a happy painting, although the colours are vibrant and warm.
It is inspired by Gustav Klimt's painting Rosebushes Under Trees, but it is nothing like his painting.
All paintings in my Lone Tree series are painted so that the sky is taking more than two thirds of the painting and the tree is just standing in the corner all alone.
The painting is signed in the front and at the back and comes with Certificate of Authenticity. The painting is ready to hang.
This is one of a kind acrylic painting on stretched cotton canvas (comes with stretcher bars).
