Number 54 of my alla prima paintings carried out for the Artwork a Day challenge on Artfinder, is worked in various shades of blue on a fine cotton canvas.
There's something so romantically melancholy about a lone boat bobbing in the surf and I enjoy using them as a subject for my painting,
The turquoise blue colour continues on all around the borders so no frame is necessary unless required.
