A little barn sits in a typical Yorkshire Dales landscape of sweet meadows and dry stone walls.
The painting is inspired by one of many walks in the Dales especially along the Swale. A landscape which on first glance seems only green really comes to life with so many colours when you stop and look. Buttercups, vetch, grasses, yellow rattle, globe flower and orchids. Lichens on the stones and the changing colours of the light on the landscape.
This large painting is framed and ready to hang. The frame is white wood and the glazing is good quality acrylic for safe transport.
