The Little Owl has a penetrating stare - it appears to quiz its audience with its large eyes and curling eyebrows. This is a study of this compelling and somehow humorous bird. It is sitting on a post which is where they are often to be found. I love its beautiful markings and its apparent wisdom - perhaps judging humanity and finding us lacking.
