This is a view of a corner in the village in France. The sun is bright, but the shadows are deep, adding a hint of mystery and coolth. I was transfixed by the brightness of the walls, and the clarity of the sky. This work is an ideal reminder that summer always returns. The canvas is 0.4 inches deep and can therefore hang without the need for framing.
