I imagine this crazy, dynamic, group of dancer's- a group collaboration with myself, Henri Matisse, the model Elen, and a gallery goer named Linda, who stopped abruptly in her tracks. The colors are roughly the primaries, blue is in there too, and they are intense hues. This is textured with generous use of oil paint, emulsion, and vine charcoal. Intense freedom, joy, sensual abandon, longing, or being "lost"? Ultimately the painting is unfathomable to me and I am fascinated by the surprizes.
