Original artwork description
Lilacs bloomed very early in the Urals this year, in early May. I'm happy about that. This natural phenomenon is unusual. However, climate change isn't just happening here in the Urals.
It probably happens everywhere on our beautiful planet.
There are a lot of lilacs in our old garden; sometimes, I make bouquets and arrange them in buckets and jars. All the same, after all, the lilac needs to be cut off so that it also blooms next year.
In this picture, the lilac is standing in an old wooden bowl. It is so beautiful!
I painted the picture with pastels on a special pastel paper from the French company Canson.
The lilac is so delicate; it seems to me that pastel is the best material to draw a lilac.
I indicate the size of the image as it is. In addition, 0.7 cm margins were added around the picture's perimeter for framing it in a baguette.
Materials used:
dry pastels, pastel chalks, Canson pastel paper
Details:
- Pastel drawing on Paper
