This painting was created intuitively, based on my emotional perception of the fjord landscape and my experience of living in Norway. I am deeply inspired by the way light changes throughout the day — how it reflects on the water, dissolves forms, and creates subtle transitions between sky, land, and surface. The work focuses on these fleeting moments: soft glows, gentle reflections, and shifting tones that never stay the same. Rather than depicting a specific place, the painting captures a feeling of stillness, openness, and quiet movement. The surface is finished with a satin varnish for protection.
