This painting belongs to the series “Who's Next?”.
In 2023, the painting was part of the “Cosmonia of Senses” exhibition project at the Korsaks Museum of Contemporary Ukrainian Art in Lutsk, Ukraine. Among the 300 artists featured was my painting “Light of Time,” created in 2022. Incidentally, the world's largest painting (2,000 square meters) was created in this museum. The opening took place on September 28, 2024. Therefore, I consider it important to exhibit in this museum and participate in the museum's next open calls, which will take place this year.
In August 2025, the painting “Soil“ along with four other paintings from this series was exhibited at the exhibition “Dialogue between Heaven and Roots” in Lutsk (Ukraine) at the Art Gallery of the Volyn Organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. After the exhibition ended, one of the paintings, “Roots-Insight,” found a collector and was sold.
Every day I meet the dawn, and in the dawn there is light.
It is an incredible luxury to SEE! We take it for granted as something simple and rightfully ours, but in reality, light is very, very “SWEET.” We forget about its value! And we are constantly looking for answers to questions about the cycles of being, including the energy of light (temperature), the time and space of its origin, etc. But for each person, the search for answers to these questions is intimate. And it helps in this search to find one's own meaning in life or ... (you can add your own version, it's your choice). Because light can be the rays of the sun, which are warm and gentle, or, conversely, hot and scorching. Their harmony is always regulated by other processes that imperceptibly flow into our comfort. However, we constantly try to spoil this comfort.
I don't want to think about the bad, and I'm talking not only about the value of physical, earthly light, but mainly about spiritual light!
What if the light suddenly disappears?
What will happen next?
Who will bring light again?
And will we lose ourselves, our love and humanity, kindness and respect, etc. in the darkness of the universe?
The painting will be delivered in a cardboard tube. It will be pre-packed separately in transparent film and then in bubble wrap.
