"Light of Hope" is a piercing work of art, characterized not only by the energetic sunset, but also by the vitality of the sea waves beating against the shore. On the canvas, created in March 2022 during the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, the artist embodied the belief in a brighter future and an end to bloodshed.
The main part of the picture is the sunset, when the solar discreteness paints the sky in shades of orange and pink, like a fire of a flame. The last ray of the sun, breaking through the spray of a raging wave,symbolizes the hope that lives in the hearts
The foreground depicts a sea wave rising up, with the effect of personifying expression and vitality.
In an endless war, a wave becomes a metaphor for resilience and strength to overcome difficulties, just like water is capable of overcoming any obstacles.
Splashes of water refracting the light of sunset emit bright sparks, symbolizing faith in a brighter future even in the darkest of times.
