I took my Plein air group this summer to the Sierra Buttes where I love to paint outdoors. The summers are clear with reflections of colors especially in the morning hours. In this painting the yellow sky represents warmth with the green and lavender giving an ambient feel of relaxation. This painting holds all the elements and majestic view of the mountains.
