Artwork description
Light Changes Everything is a minimalist panoramic abstract inspired by the mineral-green waters and pale golden sands of the Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides—remote, serene, and far from the madding crowd. Harris is renowned for its extraordinary water, colours so luminous they could be mistaken for the tropics. I find this landscape endlessly fascinating: the way the light shifts across silver sand, how the sea shimmers between turquoise, teal and aqua.
To create this work I use my camera as a painter uses a brush, translating colour and atmosphere into abstraction. Printed on exquisite Canson Aquarelle 300gsm fine art paper, the watercolour texture enhances depth and vibrancy. Each piece is signed, titled, and numbered in a small edition, ensuring its uniqueness.
Also available on canvas—please contact me for details.
