LIFE. LEMONS. LEMONADE. | Turning the bitter into bold!
When I completed this piece back in 2022, the vibrant colors - especially the yellow shapes, which looked like lemons lying in a fruit bowl - brought the idiom "If life give you lemons..." to my mind.
Though initially not started with this theme, I (we all...) all know that sometimes, unexpected growth can blossom from rejection or conflict, offering a vital shift in perspective. Of course, it doesn't always work out that way, it can't. But when it does, it reminds us: No matter how hard something seems at first, we have the chance to make the best of it.
We all have some "lemons" in our life...
Sides: not painted but with traces of paint of the painting process
Frame: unframed but ready to hang, further framing (e.g. a float frame) is possible
Signature: front and verso, also signed Certificate of Authenticity
