Affirmation: Wake up every day with a grateful heart, live the life, enjoy the present.
To experience the seasons, it has become a routine of mine to paint the first bloom around my surroundings during its flowering season. This artwork depicts a gorgeous flower arrangement I encountered during my visit to a local nursery on a sunny afternoon.
Time froze on that magical moment, and this gorgeous bouquet caught my attention. The flowers were placed in a white ceramic pot, wrapped in a pastel colour grosgrain ribbon. The beautiful flower arrangement reminds me that life is precious and every day is a gift.
Poppies symbolise dreams, remembrance and mindfulness. The Poppie flowers commemorate victims who served and lost their lives during the conflicts.
These radiant blossoms also stand for spiritual awakening and transformation.
Lagurus ovatus, also known as Hare's tail grass, bunny tail grass. In the Language of Flowers, Hare's tail grass symbolises protection, innocence, purity, love, beauty, and fertility. In some cultures, bunny Tail Grass is believed to ward off evil spirits or negative energies. Placing Bunny Tail Grass near doorways or windows is thought to keep negative influences at bay and bring positivity into the home.
Roses in Light Pink are associated with gentleness, admiration, gratitude and sympathy. Gifting light pink roses is a perfect way to let the receiver know that they are a pleasure to behold.
Everlasting paper daisies, also known as Strawflower (Xerochrysum bracteantha), symbolise immortality and can also represent someone or something that is always remembered.
Last but not least, one of my favourite native flowers, Hydrangea, symbolises Heartfelt and honest emotions, reunion, abundance and prosperity.
Flowers always bloom at their own time without competing with other flowers. May we all bloom in our time in the best season. Hope you enjoy this artwork of mine.
