liberal truth regime 7-15-23 addresses distrust in traditional/legacy media, including the once highly respected BBC.
The work is a small-scale female portrait study based on ‘Pinocchio’ and on canvas in oils, using a muted palette contrasting with areas of vibrant color. It is painted with a fluid application of paint, staining, and stripping back, allowing earlier paint layers to be visible.
Utilizing bold, expressive brushstrokes, the artist builds layers of texture and emotion. The muted palette gives way to bursts of vibrant colors. Each brushstroke is purposeful, contributing to the overall sense of movement and influenced by post-impressionist painters.
The work is titled and signed on the back and also comes with a certificate of authenticity.
