A painting created through free improvisation with music by Izal. The song "El Baile" plays on a loop in the final part of the work, and some of its verses are incorporated into the piece.

A story of the past and present. The unknown, what slips through our fingers... Nature, antiquity, the earthly and the spiritual.

We think we are gods, but we are just monkeys who have risen above expectations.

Gestural, intuitive painting that lets things happen and leans on what appears. Taking advantage of the unexpected and accepting the consequences.

A need to tell stories, to leave a mark, to understand the world, which is always both modern and ancient.

Nothing matters much... Working with a lost gaze...

Materials used:

acrylic, gesso, pigments, charcoal, wax, graphite
