Painting representing the entrance of Les Saumonards beach near Boyardville located on the second largest island of the west coast of France. Called the luminous island, its sunshine makes it an ideal subject for painting. I have always loved these seaside landscapes, reminding me of my childhood holidays with my grandmother. It is an island of heart, my island.
