Le Petit Prince is a hand-built stoneware sculpture inspired by the novel “Le Petit Prince” by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. This sculpture became a composite of the symbolic elements described within this wonderful novel, through a train of consciousness way of working. This iron oxide-stained choreographic figure is mounted upon a steel rod set atop a small steel plinth, atop a beautifully stained black walnut base. It is mounted to suggest flight and free movement in space.
It has a most beautiful and imaginative head form that suggests both a crown and a rose. This figure suggests a quiet strength and a timeless elegance, making it a thoughtful gift for any admirer of the novel.
