Original artwork description
This abstract work did not start with any preconceived idea. It developed as I worked my way into the piece. This work was made during a lockdown where the only place outside I could go was our backyard. In the painting I reflected on the idea of the garden as a sort of ornamentation; something to look at and admire just as the paintings that are made with the intention of only decorating a wall or a room.
