The Broad Contemporary Art Museum is in downtown Los Angeles. Next door to the Disney Concert Hall, it offers one of the most fascinating facades in architecture. Here, the rich lattice work is exaggerated with a wide-angle viewpoint. The overall pattern is eye catching with the black and white sharply identifying each honeycombed indentation. From this direction we don't catch the indented window, but we see all its details expanded by the scale of the wall and the darkened buildings in the background.
