In this large abstract work, I continue my exploration of inner emotional states through the lens of synesthesia—translating soundscapes and musical feelings into color, weight, and gesture.

Before working on the canvas, I spent time listening to the atmospheric music of Chet Baker, Bill Evans, Alice Coltrane, and Pink Floyd. Their lingering chords and subtle rhythms helped spark abstract images, color relationships, and emotional resonances in my mind. The actual painting process, however, took place in complete, focused silence. Working without sound allowed those auditory memories to settle intuitively onto the canvas—layering cool blues, deep charcoals, and grounding earth tones with unexpected sparks of bright yellow, coral, and pink.
