Original artwork description
Heavily textured painting created with palette knife and softened with brush using oil paints and applied gold leaf. I have used cold wax medium to add depth and real gold leaf incorporated within the painting. The painting was inspired by recent study of the work of Paul Cezanne. I hope that I have created a luxurious effect with an unusual depth of colour and texture.
The painting has been created on a high quality primed 100% unbleached cotton deep box canvas painted black on the sides so you may choose not to frame but I believe that framing in a simple offset frame would be very beneficial. The last image shows my suggestion for framing.
Corded and ready to hang and supplied with a certificate of authenticity. Initialled on the front and signed on the back.
