Original artwork description:

Watercolor sketch “Landscape. Carpathians” was drawn from life during my plein-air cycling trip in the Carpathians in the summer of 2020. I traveled by bicycle and lived in a tent. In search of a motive for an etude, he climbed up the mountains and saw a stunning beauty, similar to the nature of the Swiss Alps.

I started to paint, the weather was good, the sun was shining, sometimes it hid behind the clouds, and interesting tonal and color contrasts in nature were created.

But when I was finishing the sketch, a very strong wind began which literally carried me and the tripod on which I drew from my feet, so with incredible efforts I managed to draw this work from nature, after which I went down to my tent and waited out the bad weather.

The work was painting by professional Italian watercolors Maimeri Blu on 100% cotton watercolor paper 300 g/m2, which guarantees the durability of the preservation of the work under proper storage conditions, decorated under glass.

Also on my page you can see other original paintings painted from life during my plein air travels in Italy, India, Georgia, Ukraine, Russia, Turkey. And also see my paintings with flowers and still lifes painted from nature.

All the funds raised from the sale of my paintings are used to make my dream of a mobile workshop based on a minibus come true. Now I travel the world on a bicycle, it is very exciting, but for greater productivity I need a minibus in which I will live, travel and paint.
