An original 24" x 18" or 60.96cm x 45.72cm, watercolor and ink painting. In this warm, inviting, coastal home by Robert Kime, a lamb is relaxing by the fire. A puffin is flying into the room to join his mate on the fireside ottoman. Above the fireplace mantle hangs a seascape with fishing boats alongside a lovingly collected display of seashells. I had so much fun painting this room. I love the little lamb and puffins are one of my favorite birds! The rug, the chair, the fireplace, they are all gorgeous and I enjoyed capturing their textures and color combinations!

This painting has been painted with Rembrandt professional watercolor paints and De Atramentis archival ink on Arches French-made all cotton 300gsm watercolor paper.
