Original artwork description
This is an acrylic painting depicting the stony path which crosses the river between Crummock water and Buttermere. I believe it is called the River Cocker/Buttermere Dubs. The path winds along the river and then crosses via a small stone bridge. Looking North West the valley flattens out and then rises steeply towards Causey Pike.
On the day that we visited the afternoon sunlight was causing vast swathes of meadow to glow beyond the shadowy stone of the dry stone walls.
The painting is supplied rolled in a tube.
Materials used:
Acrylic and inks
Details:
- Acrylic painting on Paper
- One of a kind artwork
- Size: 42 x 42cm (unframed) / 42 x 42cm (actual image size)
- Signed on the front
- Style: Impressionistic
- Subject: Landscapes, sea and sky
