The best part of being in the Lake District is being high up and looking down. I love the patterns you can see, the lives lived below, almost unseen, and the feeling of space.
I try to convey this through the beauty of oil paints. I hope you like it.
This landscape measures 50 x 20 x 3.5 cm, (20 x 8 x 1.5 inches). I have used artist quality oil paints on a cradled wooden panel. The sides are painted a clean white and it is ready to hang with D rings and cord.
