What truly captivated me in this scene were the patterns in her bright red sari, a lovely contrast to the cool greens surrounding her. The way the light catches the folds and reveals the intricate designs was something I just had to capture with my pen and a quick wash of color. The long, pale green gourds in the foreground create a wonderful texture, and the darker leafy greens behind her add depth. Her gaze is directed slightly off to the side, perhaps waiting for a customer or observing the market activity. The washes of color are loose and suggestive, bringing life to the scene. The overall impression is of a candid moment, capturing the vendor's quiet presence amid the bounty of her fresh green offerings.
