Original artwork description:

In this painting, I poured my passion into capturing the serene flow of nature where impressionism meets realism. The oil medium lets me play with texture and light, bringing the river’s gentle movement and vibrant greenery to life. I wanted to evoke a peaceful escape, inviting you to feel the calm energy and timeless beauty that this landscape radiates in your space.
Kolvitsa is a village in the administrative jurisdiction of the town of Kandalaksha in Murmansk Oblast, Russia. The village is located beyond the Arctic circle, on the Kolvitsa river near its confluence with Kolvitsa Bay of Kandalaksha Gulf, White Sea.
There is no night on the Kola Peninsula in summer. The day lasts without interruption, so you can paint around the clock. The only inconvenience is a huge number of insects from which even protective equipment does not save.
