I was inspired by the beauty and variety of colors in these idle kayaks. They were lit up by the sun with beautiful warm and cool shadows around them. The shadows increased the feeling of sun light and I increased the color and light in the photograph to create drama in the painting. As you look at the painting you might wonder where the path takes as it rounds the bend ahead. I have framed this painting in a dark expresso frame with a gold fillet. The painting is completely ready to hand it its new forever home.
