My paintings are often inspired by my love and fascination with ever-changing skies and cloud formation.
I try to capture the movement and mood of the sky and water below - Calm and dreamy, to dramatic and surreal.
In this piece, I aimed to portray the feel of a winter's morning and the icey refections in the frozen lake.
The glistening glacier was created by layering and glazing to form texture and an almost 3D effect.
