In crafting this piece, my brushstrokes dance with watercolors to fuse impressionism and realism—a vibrant homage to the urban heartbeat. As the colors meld, the paper breathes life, capturing a moment of city tranquility amidst the dynamic rhythm of daily hustle. This artwork, it's a snapshot of life poised in sunlight, a serene pause that will infuse any space with a sense of calm and a whisper of energetic potential. I painted this view of the city of Kharkov for the order. And after eight years, this picture came back to me again. This is a historical reconstruction of the old town from about 70 years old. Lightness of watercolors, its transparency and plasticity will be felt for me.
