Artwork description
Every small child can associate the plush kangaroo figure with red boxing gloves. Animals that have firm, strong hind legs and their stance somewhat resemble boxers are associated with this symbol of strength.
When I was in Australia, I saw a boxing match between two kangaroos in the wild, and it inspired me to make this somewhat humorous sculpture.
The sculpture will certainly please children, but also lovers of wildlife and Australia.
