Kaleidoscope of Femininity: Theatre of Faces (2026) Original Collage by Olga Li

The piece explores the fluidity of a woman’s identity through the metaphor of social performance and constant disguise. In a dense layering of gazes, cutouts, and textures, a hypnotic scene emerges where facial features lose all rigidity. The paper surface becomes a stage of appearances, where the face is never a definitive truth, but a transient mask in perpetual becoming.

This work is part of my ongoing series of analogue collages.
The certificate of authenticity will be printed in full color, then hand-signed and dated by the artist.

Technique and conservation: Original collage on MDF panel. Paper applied with vinyl adhesive. The reverse side of the support is sealed with water-based transparent acrylic varnish for wood/MDF, helping protect against humidity and environmental changes. The surface is protected with a satin UV protective varnish.
