Artist's description:

This painting came from watching on the television a holiday concert that was supposed to have an audience of regular people coming to watch, paying for tickets, etc. It however became very clear they had been vetted for looks, age, and dancing ability. Not exactly a random affair. Altho the concert was full of wonderful music, it was very distracting watching the secondary show being put on by the "audience". It became a sort of competition.

This is watercolor, ink and pastel on 140lb. watercolor paper.
It is shipped unframed.
Sprayed with UV protectants as part of the mixed media process.

Materials used:

watercolor, ink, pastel, paper
