"The Cat's On The Table", this watercolor painting features a jaguar happily stretching out on a table in a stunning living room. I've been reading about jaguar habitats, particularly Pantanal, a large park which is a refuge for these gorgeous wild cats. A visit to Pantanal is on my, "bucket list"! A stature of a pair of Hyacinth macaws sits on a table behind the cat. On the wall hangs a painting of a pair of jaguar cubs in the jungle and under that painting is a statue of a hornbill. Potted orchids, tropical flowers and high ceilings add color and a light, relaxed feeling to this interesting and detailed painting. This artwork is part of my series depicting cherished pets and wildlife coexisting under one roof! It's a powerful reminder that we can live in harmony with nature when we open our hearts and truly see the wonder in every living being. We become part of something bigger, an unbreakable bond that unites us all.
