I've walked this path for many years (2020)Oil painting by Rob van Hoek

Landscape painting in blue and green colours, imagining a walk through forest and fields, as I like to do so much when I am in Gorssel. I have a little country-side studio there, where I make a lot of my paintings. This one is made there, but as all my paintings, it is not an existing place. All impressions from my walks are used for imaginary landscapes, a bit romantic, a bit naive.
The title is from a song by Wishbone Ash. (All the titles of my paintings are parts of song lyrics). Painted on quality canvas, ready to hang. The sides of the canvas are painted as well. Ships in box-frame, but can hang without perfectly.
