In crafting this piece, I was deeply moved to capture raw human sentiment. The bold strokes and earthy tones intertwine, evoking a profound introspective journey. My use of acrylic exudes vitality, each brushstroke imbuing a sense of realness and depth. This painting is a soulful symphony, resonating with the complexities of emotion and the untold stories that lie within us all. This painting is one of my large scale portrait works, done with acrylics over stretched canvas.
In these expressive close-up portraits my intent is to get beyond the regular facial features, catching clear psychological emotion. Hopes, dreams, pain, disappointment and such, all of them too human emotional conditions are among the themes I'm working on.
